About the Author
Chen Yingsong graduated from the Chinese Department of Wuhan University, and is a national first-class writer and a member of the full committee of the Chinese Writers Association. He has served as the Vice Chairman of the Hubei Writers Association and the Dean of the Hubei Academy of Literature. In 2015, he was awarded the title of “Hubei Cultural Master” by the Hubei Provincial Government. He has published over 100 collections of novels, essays, poetry, and more. The work has won multiple awards, including the Lu Xun Literature Award, the Chinese Novel Society Award, the People’s Literature Award, and the Liang Bin Literature Award. Multiple works have been translated into multiple languages such as English, French, Russian, Japanese, and Korean.
About the Translator
Sun Chunlu graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science and City University. He has spent more than 14 years studying, working and living in the UK. He once worked at Credit Suisse Investment Bank in London and is proficient in English, French and Romanian. He is currently a teacher in the Business School of Zhengzhou SIAS University, engaged in teaching and research bilingually, in international trade and finance, as well as translation and interpretation. In addition to this, he has also produced two other works, including Mapping the Bones, a 200,000 words American thriller novel, as well as Mr Tiger, Betsy and the Blue Moon, a British child fantasy novel, etc.
