A remarried couple, with their respective daughter Xiao Qin and Tao Lan, live together. Tao Lan kills Xiao Qin unintentionally due to a misunderstanding and is put into prison. 17 years later, Tao Lan is allowed to go home fro the Spring Festival but nobody meets her in the bus stop.
