About the Book
This photographic album selects about 300 pictures that were taken by nearly 40 well-known photographers in China. It enriches interpretation of the national connotation of China from the aspects of visual, knowledge, beauty, and concept. In this book, Chinese traditional discourse and contemporary important image media are used to express the vivid visual interpretation of China's "national ideal."
The book is mainly divided into three parts: Beautiful Scenery, Man and Nature, and World Heritage in China.
In Beautiful Scenery, the photographers raise their head observing the massive universe, and lower their heads looking into the species of variety, reverently fusing their life with Chinese landscape, and injecting their throbbing pulse of life into frames of photographs.
In Man and Nature, photographers direct their lens towards the vicissitudes of the old routes of the Yellow River, the ruins of the ancient city of Loulan, colorful modern metropolis, all-round city roads, which reveal the relationship of mutual competition and cooperation.
In World Heritage in China, photographers chase light and scenes, their eyes lingering on the beauties either natural or artificial, and they use their camera lens to present the world heritage from Chinese landscape, revealing their heavenly and transcendent mind.
