Salt in Ancient China shows the magnificent and rich salt culture of China. The first photograph book illustrating China’s salt culture, the book tells the history, culture and technology of the salt industry. There are about a hundred pictures in the book that show various Chinese salt fields where salt comes from: the ancient salt pond, deep in the earth, the sea, the vast desert, and the Tibetan plateau, etc. Salt in Ancient China also discusses the salt culture and the salt production technology.
