Fan Jinshi is Director and Research Fellow of Dunhuang Academy. She graduated from Peking University in 1963 with a major in archeology and has been working at Dunhuang Academy ever since. Fan has published extensively on Dunhuang art, including books, edited volumes, digital programs, articles and research projects. Throughout her career, Fan has dedicated herself to the preservation and study of Dunhuang and its art.
Dr. Zhao Shengliang is Research Fellow at Dunhuang Academy. He graduated from the Department of Chinese at Beijing Normal University and received his PhD degree in art history from Seijo University in Japan. Zhao began to work at Dunhuang Academy in 1984 and has published and edited several books and numerous articles on Dunhuang art. His research interests focus on the wall paintings and the scroll calligraphy at Dunhuang.
