Summary: During the Anti-Japanese War, the leader of Kids’ Regiment Hai Wa one day gets a militia task from the communist-led Eighth Route Army: to send an emergency letter. On the way, he meets Japanese, but Hai Wa cleverly keeps the letter safe and introduces the Japanese to the mountains where they are wiped out by the Eighth Route Army. Furthermore, the Eighth Route Army attacks a base of the Japanese troops according to the letter and takes captive of an important commander of the Japanese army.
